At Gin Rin, gold is GOLD..

..but as a teeny tiny business, absent the budget we crave and deserve (lol), we don't get to use it as much as we'd like.

We also have no interest in anything but solid gold. You won't find filled or plated here - our jewellery is made to last.

So the vast majority of Gin Rin jewels are crafted in sterling silver with the occasional, exciting drop, of one of a kind, solid gold pieces.

BUT you need not wait for those infrequent drops - if you'd like something in gold, let's make it happen!

Why gold?

Aside from being a beautiful precious metal that compliments any stone, gold is more hard wearing than silver. 9ct gold may tarnish minimally and 18ct gold won't tarnish at all. It's also more resistant to scratching and damage than silver.

This makes it the perfect precious metal for your special heirloom pieces.

Mixing metals

Who's to say you can't have the best of both worlds?

The contrast of an 18ct gold accent bezel against an otherwise silver piece is not only strikingly beautiful but a more affordable option if you're a gold lover on a budget.

As a bonus it'll match with your existing gold jewellery just as well as it will your silver.
