A beautiful rose cut Tanzanite, bezel set in an open back, sterling silver ring to showcase its natural beauty.
The ring has been carefully handcrafted in my garden studio using 100% recycled sterling silver sheet and wire, making it a thoughtful and timeless piece with a sustainable touch.
This large 5.65ct Tanzanite is full of natural internal inclusions which shimmer beautifully in the light, giving the stone a unique and organic character. There is one surface-reaching inclusion visible from certain angles (shown in the video), however I do not feel this takes away from the overall beauty or presence of the gem.
Tanzanite is said to be a stone of transformation, it can help dissolve old patterns and allow us to move forward with optimism and inspiration. It gives a sense of direction and enables us to visualize the future.
According to scientists, Tanzanite is likely to become extinct within the next few decades. This is because it is only found within a 4km strip of land on the outskirts of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. Once it has all been mined there won’t be any more making Tanzanite a very rare stone which will one day be extremely hard to come by.
